“Between stimulus and response, there is a space. In that space lies our freedom and our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our happiness”

Specialisms:
Substance/Behavioural Addictions and Substance Abuse
I have personal experience navigating the journey of recovery from addiction and this lived experience deeply informs the way I support others. As a therapist, I bring not only professional training but also a personal understanding of the challenges, setbacks, and courage involved in recovery. I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore your relationship with substances or behaviours, and work towards meaningful, lasting change—at your own pace and in your own way.
Depression and Low Mood
According to the World Health Organisation Depression is now the leading cause of disability worldwide. I understand how heavy and isolating depression can feel, and I offer a gentle, compassionate space where you don’t have to face it alone. Together, we’ll take things at your pace, exploring what might be contributing to your low mood and finding small, manageable ways forward. My approach is always tailored to you, blending warmth, empathy, and proven techniques to ease the weight of depression, support your healing and help you feel more grounded, connected and emotionally resilient.
Anxiety, Panic disorder and Agoraphobia
At different stages of life I have personally experienced both generalised anxiety and panic attacks from which, with support, I have recovered. I deeply empathise with clients experiencing these debilitating conditions. I use a therapeutic approach which has been researched and is clinically proven to be effective that has helped many of my clients to gain a deeper understanding of their anxiety problems and acquire effective tools to overcome them.
Complex Trauma and PTSD
Multiple traumatic experiences can be devastating leading to chronic nervous system dysregulation. Healing from complex trauma takes time and the right kind of support. I offer a trauma-informed, person-centred space where you can feel safe enough to begin the healing process, always at a pace you are comfortable with. I recognise that trauma is stored not just in the mind but also in the body, so alongside talking therapy, I integrate gentle mind-body approaches such as the rewind technique, a powerful, non-intrusive method proven to reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories without requiring detailed retelling. These approaches promote nervous system regulation and emotional safety, helping you move from survival mode toward resolution of the trauma by reprogramming your somatic response to those traumatic memories.
Psychedelic Integration
I offer support and guidance for clients seeking integration of challenging previous psychedelic experiences (for further info please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have and also see: https://www.iceers.org/psychedelic-integration-new-book/
